INTRODUCTION

STRIVE Prep Ops Academy are operations leaders in training. The ultimate goal of the academy is to develop and prepare participants for the role of Assistant Principal of Operations (APO) of a STRIVE Prep campus. Each Operations Academy participant will continue their normal job duties (i.e. teaching, OM, OC, Registrar, Central, etc.) while concurrently taking part in tailored professional development and a mentorship program. The involvement will be attending an off-campus meeting and site visit lasting approximately 4 hours long, one time per month, 7 times (September, October, November, January, February, April, May) throughout the 2022-23 school year.


Over the course of the year, participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to multiple operations functions that include: Identifying one's own personal strengths through the Gallup Strength finder assessment, Anti-racist practices, ERCM, Budget and Finance, Project Management among them.
