Our department is committed to advancing the mission and vision of STRIVE Prep through a robust offering of athletics and activities. We have operations at all of our campuses in order to promote our k-12 pipelines. As athletic director, it is my belief that offering activities is an act of justice in our communities. Our communities continue to lose access to resources and structured activities. Athletics, in particular, have become cost prohibitive for many of our families across our city. At STRIVE Prep, we are committed to providing robust, high-quality, low-cost experiences for our students and families at all of our campuses. While we’ve come a long way and have many great things happening at all of our campuses, we still have a long way to go. This year, we will be focusing on

• More frequent PD opportunities for coaches and athletics staff
• Expanded offerings of sample opportunities for our elementary students
• Expansion of individual sports, starting with golf for our FNE middle schools

Whether you are a coach, AD, teacher, administrator, or stakeholder of any kind in our communities, you are an important piece of this complex puzzle. At the very least, you can help by being supportive of our students any time they engage in any of our activities, clubs, or groups.
