1) Check: Volume level on the application you are trying to hear

Invidiual applications like YouTube adnd Spotify have their own volume controls.

Steps:

On your comptuer:

  1. Open the appliaction you are trying to hear (youtube, spotify, etc) and check that the volume settings on that application are up.

If that does not solve to the problem, move onto the next step!

2a) Click Here if You are Connected via a cord (USB-C or HDMI)

Next, let's check the volume settings on the computer and the Panel.

Steps:

On your comptuer:

  1. Check that the speaker volume is turned up by selecting the speaker icon on the bottom right of your computer.

On your Panel:

  1. Check that the volume is turned up using the physical buttons on the bottom center of the Panel.

If that doesn't work, let's try reseating the cord.

Steps:

  1. Unplug the cord from the panel and your comptuer. Plug the cord back in.

If that doesn't work, let's try checking your Laptop's audio output.

Steps:

On your comptuer:

  1. Unplug the cord from your computer, wait 5 seconds, and plug the cord back into your comptuer. Select your laptop from the outputs button.
  1. Go to your audio settings on your laptop by opening the settings, and searching for 'Sound'. You should see at least two options for output, and one of them should be 'AP7_Titanium' (or something very close to that). Select that option.

If you are connected via a cord and you don't see that option, try using another cord and/or try using another port on the Panel.

If that doesn't work, move on to step #3.

2b) Click Here if you are connected via the Screenshare extension in chrome

Next, let's check the volume settings on the computer and the Panel.

Steps:

On your comptuer:

  1. Disconnect your computer from the Screen Share App. Reconnect your computer, making sure to check the box that says 'Share system audio'.

On your Panel:

  1. Check that the volume is turned up using the physical buttons on the bottom center of the Panel.

If that doesn't work, move on to step #3.

3) Try: Powercycle your Panel

Similar to your staff computer, the working memory on the Panel can max out over time. To reset the working memory:

Steps:

1) find the power switch

2) Flip the switch to the off position

3) Wait at least 10 seconds

4) Flip and swtich to the on position, and power up your Panel.

(Remember: The main power switch is different the the button on the front of the panel)
